There are three methods of making bread - so a couple of questions first???

What kind of bread do you want to make?
- european loaf type bread with plenty of air in it
- asian/oriental flat bread (like naan etc.)

Do you have a breadmaker?

Somat like this.......

I used to make bread by hand but since I bought a breadmaker (or rather had one given to me as an xmas present!) I have used that. It takes all the hard work out of preparing the dough even if I sometimes do the actual baking in the oven.

The baking is the eay part - the "kneading" is the bit that is hard work. But I'll tell you how if you really want. What sort of bread do you want to make? A loaf or a flat bread?
