Maybe my english is misleading me, but it sounds to me that "six days before we go to Türkiye" is equal to "There're six days before we go to Türkiye"?
Then it's: Türkiye'ye gitmemize 6 gün var/kaldı.
Altı gün önceden Türkiye'ye gideceğiz means "we will go to Turkey six days before (needed)."

I is just usual for us to omit "there are"

But you can't do this in turkish. So, it's the one I wrote in my previous post.

And "before" is literally "önce" but as you see, you don't use "önce" here. Using it making such a sentence: "Türkiye'ye gitmemizden önce altı gün var" would be meaningless.

So can gerunds only be used with verbs?
