I'm trying to learn turkish alone. I really enjoy it, but it's not always very easy
I'm wondering something, and i didn't find it in the forum yet:

It's about the conjugation of the verb "to be".
In my book, and in qdemir's lessons, here, the full conjugation (with i, you, we, you, they) is only with a single word (like hastayım, i'm sick, or öğrenciyim, i'm a student), but when it's a whole sentence, it's always the he-she-it form.

For instance :Mehmet çok neşeli bir çocuk. = Mehmet is a very cheerful kid.
But how can i say "i'm a very cheerful kid ?"

Ben çok neşeli bir çocuk ? (looks like Tarzan's speech, doesn't it ?)
(Ben) çok neşeli bir çocukum ?
(Ben) çok neşeliyim bir çocukum ? (i suppose that this one is wrong...)
çok neşeli bir çocuk benim ?

Is it 'benim çok neşeli bir çocukum?

Here is the full list of personal suffixes to add in noun sentences:

Singular
1. : -ım, -im, -um, -üm
2. : -sın, -sin, -sun, -sün
3. : --
Plural
1. : -ız, -iz, -uz, -üz
2. : -sınız, -siniz, -sunuz, -sünüz
3. : -lar, -ler, --

Except noun sentences these personal suffixes are also used for Present Continuous Tense(-iyor), Present Tense (-er), Future Tense (-ecek), Reported Past Tense (-miş ) .

Ben akıllıyım
Sen akıllısın
O akıllı
Biz akıllıyız
Siz akıllısınız
Onlar akıllılar. Onlar akıllı.

Ben öğrenciyim.
Sen öğrencisin
O öğrenci
Biz öğrenciyiz
Siz öğrencisiniz
Onlar öğrenciler. Onlar öğrenci.

For third person plural both options are valid. "Ben çocuk-um" becomes "Ben çocuğum" according consonant mutation.

It is a noun sentence if the predicate is not a conjugable verb. In other words, it is a noun sentence if the predicate is a noun or adjective.
