Hi folks,I want to introduce a song of Şebnem Ferah.its "Perdeler"(Curtains). Its a brilliantly good song, that even in 2001 Şebnem Ferah made a "duet" with the famous Finnish "string metal" group Apocalyptica!!

Anyway,here are the lyrics:

Bir yanımda dopdolu yaşanmış sayfalar
Bir yanımda üst üste okunmamış kitaplar
Dünüm yarınım hep burda küçücük adamda
Susadım yoruldum ama aklım hayatta
Bir yanda yorgun düşmüş yaşlanmış insanlar
Bir yanımda ümitle aşkla uyananlar
Dünyanın her hali burda dağınık odamda
Çok düştüm yaralandım ama sarıldım hayata

Ardımda büyük büyük kocaman ağır yükler
Heryerimden çektiler beni beklettiler
Dinlendim su içtim aktı dudaklarımdan
Her gün güneş doğar yeter ki açık olsun perdeler

Bir yanımda durmadan çalışan saatler
Bir yanda ağır ağır dipten gelen sesler
Düşündüm buldum sandığım yüzyıllık gerçekler
Hepsiyle giyindim durdum bazen büyük geldiler
Bir yanda hiç susmadan konuşan dudaklar
Bir yanda küsüp susmuş sessiz akıllar
Dibe vurduysak ne olmuş elbet çıkarız
Bir gün var bir gün yokuz
Kiralıkmış hayatlar

Ardımda büyük büyük kocaman yükler
Her yerimden çektiler beni beklettiler
Dinlendim su içtim aktı dudaklarımdan
Her gün güneş doğar yeter ki açık olsun perdeler

English:
At one side, there are pages so full of life
At one side, there are stuffed unread books
the past and future are in the same place,it this little island of mine
I got thirsty, got tired but still I am thinkin about Life

At one side there are tired, old people
At one side there are the ones who wake up with hopes
all the consequences arehere,in this little room of mine
I have fallen and wounded so many times, but still I hold on tight to Life

Behind me the are great, great heavy burdens
They hold me from each side, made me delayed
So I stopped to rest, tried to drink water but it spilled from my lips
But each day the sun rises inside,if the curtains are opened

At one side the are everworking clocks
At one side there are voices coming from the depths
The century-old truths which I thought I have found
I dressed each of them though they were sometimes bigger than my size

At one side there are evertalking lips
At one side there are broken and shut down silent minds
What if we had fallen to the depths?Of course we can rise again
however,one day we are here and tomorrow we are not;
the lives were all for rent...

(verse 3)

Anyway,if you want the song just gimme your email adress and I'll send you
