Hi, I have never tried to put a sentence together.... and would like to try. For instance if I wished to say TODAY I AM GOING TO WORK.... would I say.... Gidiyorum bugün çalişmak ... Please correct me I know its terribly wrong. Oh I hate it when everyone knows what they are doing, It seems Im the only one who is poopoo at this.

So where in this sentence is the word WORK mentioned?

çalışmak is the verb "to (do some) work".
is the place where you work.

iş-e is the place + dative suffix meaning "to (the place of) work"
