A major people smuggling ring has been in court today. Trafficing people packed inlorries from Southern Turkey to London. The film shown on TV was horrific. Young men packed into lorries and when the doors were opened they fell out nearly unconscious because of lack of oxygen, food and water. For this they had paid upto £14,000 to the leader, who had made millions. From the news report it seems like this is the tip of the iceberg.

i know thats how my husband got here..he paid 12000..and they left halfway in some romanian field so he had to get money together to come the rest of the way...kinda sad..i wonder why though if they have this money they dont just come over on holiday visa??:-S
