You reach Ihlara when you turn left after 6 kms from Guzelyurt on the way to Nevsehir from Aksaray. There are numerous churches and monasteries in the Ihlara Valley. Agacalti Church, Yilanli Church and Ala Monastery Church are the most important ones. Each of them with their huge frescos is a treasure of history. (Location: Aksaray)
