Çanakkale Naval Museum – Nusrat Mayin Gemisi Maket

Nusrat is a Turkish minelayer that strongly influenced the course of the 1915 Battle of Gallipoli. The British pre-dreadnought battleships HMS Irresistible and HMS Ocean and the French battleship Bouvet were all sunk, and the British battle cruiser HMS Inflexible was also badly damaged, by mines laid by Nusrat.

Nusrat is preserved as a museum ship at Mersin, and its replica, also named Nusrat, is displayed in Çanakkale by the shore of the Narrows of the Dardanelles along with the types of mines that it laid in World War I.
