Ottoman inscription
Ottoman inscription
Written on a wall opposite a small mosque off Divan Yolu in Sultanahmet area. I asked many old and young locals about what it means, no one had any idea about it. Some of the words praises someone and there is the name s,ahins,ah bey. The praise continues telling about the honesty and trustworthy of the builder of this place (assumably the mosque) year 1297.
