Description:
|
The Aspendos theatre preserved its true theatrical character during the Byzantine epoch, never having been turned into an arena where bloodshed games were exhibited. The theatre was later used by the Seljuks as a caravanserai. With a seating capacity of over 17 000 it is still used today to host spectacular concerts, ballets and other significant events.
