View from Alanya Castle to Kleopatra Beach
The 3.5 kilometre long Kleopatra beach is situated on the western side of the peninsula which splits Alanya into two. The beach is said to be Alanyas best. The sand is finer and there are not many rocks or stones than at the eastern beach. It has a Blue Flag.
It is said that Queen Cleopatra so loved walking on the fine sand and to bathe in the clear blue water of this beach, that Anthony presented her with this province.
