The Recollection The fearful leaves of the saddened autumn, The songs of death of the howling storm, The colourless face of the wistful earth, Daytime which is oblidged to shorten, The aging mirrors alongside our reflections, Lost acquaintances like friendly minutes, The scenery of the immigrant birds, Which we pretend to take no notice of but we can't, The last harvest from unfruitful farms, And the hungry bugs moving on the graves... These all remind us of you Oh you,silently sleeping pale faces ! |
