Hi everyone.
I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas about where to go in Ankara for a good night out. When i refer to nightlife in the title of this topic i am talking about pubs, bars maybe even cafes and certainly night clubs.Any information would be great.I have been to Ankara many times before and was just thinking maybe you guys had some new or different 'hotspots' that i don't know about yet for my up and coming trip.
Thanks!

The Lord Kinross

Much more than just a pub, The Lord Kinross is Ankara's official dart center and a popular hangout for a crowd of regular expatriates. If the clubby feel of the place doesn't intimidate you into heading out the front door, the dart league will at least provide a bit of mealtime entertainment. The menu is typical pub food, with hearty cuisine like chicken-and-mushroom pie, big steaks, homemade pork sausages, and wild boar. The Lord Kinross also serves a rib-sticking full English breakfast on Sunday; a vegetarian version is also available. Open Monday through Saturday from 6pm to midnight and Sunday from 10am to noon and 6 to 10pm.

oh really? That's not exactly what I remember! I loved Ankara's nightlife. Way less tourists than in Istanbul and all the pubs and discos were more...how to put it..."authentic" seems a good word. Unfortunately I don't remember the names of the places I went to

I remember a club called Leyla.

Actually, night life in Ankara is much more interesting than nightlife in İzmir (their places to sit and drink are ok, but their clubs suck), so I dont know what Paglaccio means. And İstanbul is no comparison probably, like it is for all the other features of this city

İn Arjentin there are nice places just for a drink during day, but I dont know for night. I guess Tunalı rings a bell but Im not even sure of that

Anyway, Leyla it is.

My malicious friend, don't you know that pure evil doesn't die that fast? Actually I doubt whether it dies at all^^ But I'm absolutely in for a night out with you as long as you bring kestane tatlisi (I still drool at the memory of it)
