Sabiha Gökçen International Airport
This International Airport is named after the first female combat pilot of the Turkish Republic; Sabiha Gökçen and is located at Pendik-Kurtköy on the Anatolian side of Istanbul. The airport is established on an open area of 6.65 sq.km and located 40 km. from the city center and has an easy access to main highways of Istanbul and to the main industrial centers of the Marmara region.
Passenger terminals consist both international and domestic terminals. The international terminal has an area of 22.000 sq.mt. with an annual capacity of 3 million passengers and designed as a single floor terminal. There are two departure and one-arrival terminals.

The other facilities are
- CIP and VIP areas
- Cafes and resting places in the mezzanine and check-in area
- Duty-Free shops, car, rental and travel offices
- Newspaper stands and bookstores
- Shopping opportunities in the greeting gates area
- 15000 square meter open parking area

Domestic terminal has a 2.000 sq.mt area with a 500.000 annual domestic passenger capacity at first.

From the Airport to Kadıköy Rıhtım
A shuttle is available for every airplane landing the airport.
From Kadıköy Rıhtım to the Airport
Two hours before the departure time of the plane.
