Very confusing !! Dictionary says üzülmek = to be sad, so

üzülmem = I don´t feel sad???????????
üzülemem = I can´t feel sad??

But in the message above, üzülmem > seems to mean = my being sad?

Please help.

Because its not negative here,
İts Mastar,infinitive

there are 2 forms of mastar,
one general...Mek,Mak,and one you can use it with personal suffix
Which is Me,Ma + suffix

You would know the difference from the meaning of the sentence
You use mek,mak in general sencences
As to say,
Lying is bad
Yalan söylemek kötüdür

But you use mE ,mA when you adress someone or talk about yourself

yalan söyleMEN yanlıştır
YOUR lying is not right
