"Benim yerim seni"

^^Translate please?

Literally, I understand this as: my place is you...

but that does not make sense.

What is the general meaning please?

Thanks

yerim also means "I eat".

I found a link here that explains it well:

Benim yerim senin, maybe?

My place is yours.

and yes "yerim seni" is a love expression (I love you so much that I would eat you). So maybe it´s "canım benim(my dear), yerim seni" or something like that.

Ahh yes that makes sense now

Thanks for those replies ^^

yes, I should add that it was a ´romantic´ context.

actually, this was the full message:

"askim benim be yerim seni"

...i interpreted it as: askim, benim be yerim seni

when really, i should have interpreted it as: askim benim, yerim seni

Sound right?

Thanks again

Hi everyone! I am a beginner in learning Turkish, and can´t keep up sometimes with the stuff my girlfriend sends me. It would be great help if someone can translate this for me:

Bir şey söylemek istiyorum seni ilk gördüm de kalbim cok hızlı atıyordu ve bir anda bir korku içime düştü ya beni beğenmesek diye olur yaa resmiler bazen insanları farklı gösteriyor sonra içimden bir ses dediki bu güzel adamı bir daha goremiye bilirsin ve ilkinde içimdeki sesi dinlemisim

Thank you so much!

my attempt for the first part. I wish your girlfriend used more punctuation.

Bir şey söylemek istiyorum.

I want to say something.

Seni ilk gördüm de kalbim çok hızlı atıyourdu,

The first time I saw you, my heart was beating very fast too,

ve bir anda bir korku içime düştü

and at once a fear fell inside me (literal)

and soon I had a fear

If it won´t be inappropriate, you may advice her to use more punctuations for you to understand her sentences easily. "Noktalama işaretleri" önemli
