When you have 1 sister and she is older than you, she is abla

When you have 2 sisters and they are older than you, the oldest is büyük abla and the other is küçük abla

When you have 3 sisters and they are older than you: (en) büyük abla, ortanca abla, (en) küçük abla

When you ahve 1 sister and she is younger than you, she is kız kardeş

When you have 2 sisters and they are younger than you, the youngest is küçük kız kardeş.. 

When you have 3 sisters and they are younger than you, the youngest of 3 is en küçük kız kardeş.. the middle one is ortanca kız kardeş.. 

** you can also use bacı for sister **

This set of büyük, ortanca, küçük often comes up in fairy tales:

 

Çok eski zamanlarda bir padişahın üç oğlu varmış. Bu padişah sağlığında çocuklarına vasiyet ederek, bunların büyüğüne, “Sarı tüylü, mavi gözlü adamla konuşma,” deyip, bir sandık altınla bir de af vermiş. Ortancasına, “Köse ile görüşme,” diyerek bir yuları vermiş. Küçüğüne de “Cüce ile dostluk kurma,” diyerek bir çift üzengi vermiş. (Kırk Yalan)
