Negative Future Tense.

We have seen how to make the future tense ´I will....../you will..../we will..../they will....

verb stem+future marker+personal ending.

For example: ´gelmek´ (to come): gel-ecek-im = geleceğim (I will come)

If we now want to make the negative future tense, so we can say what we will not (or won´t) do we add -me- or -ma- to the verb stem BEFORE the future marker ´ecek´ or ´acak´.

So in the case of ´gelmek´:

gel-me-y-ecek-im = gelmeyeceğim (I will not come)

gel-me-y-ecek-sin = gelmeyeceksin (you will not come)

gel-me-y-ecek-   = gelmeyecek (she/he/it will not come)

gel-me-y-ecek-iz = gelmeyeceğiz (we will not come)

gel-me-y-ecek-siniz = gelmeyeceksiniz (you will not come)

gel-me-y-ecek-ler = gelmeyecekler (they will not come)

 "-y-" is a buffer that comes between two vowels.
