-eyim, -elim

Indeed, "-eyim/ay覺m" and "-elim/ay覺m" are analysed as

e+im(1st type of personal suffix of 1st singular)---------->-eyim

e+lim(personal suffix of 1st plural, special for this mood)-->-elim

I can´t translate this term into English, excuse me. I´m writing only the conjugations of 1st singular and 1st plural because the other ones are almost never used nowadays. You may see them in the archaic poems or texts.

This mood is translated by "let" as well. But here is no permission meaning like there wasn´t the previous mood. We can suppose this is an imperative mood to ourselves.

day覺 (the uncle (the brother of the mother))

tan覺t覺rmak (to introduce (transitive)) (direct: to make someones meet each other for first time)

sen+i(accusative)------------------------>seni (you)

day覺+m+la------------------------------->day覺mla (with my uncle)

tan覺t覺r+a+覺m----------------------------->tan覺t覺ray覺m (let me introduce)

Seni day覺mla tan覺t覺ray覺m. (Let me introduce you my uncle) (direct: let me introduce you with my uncle.)

uyumak (to sleep)

rahat (1relax, still, 2the comfort)

rahat+s覺z-->rahats覺z (1uncomfortable, 2anxious, 3ill)

rahats覺z etmek (to disturb)

uyu+yor+lar+ise-->uyu+yor+lar+se-->uyu+yor+lar+sa-->uyuyorlarsa (if they´re sleeping)

et+me+e+lim----->etmeyelim

Uyuyorlarsa rahats覺z etmeyelim. (Let´s not disturb [them] if they are sleeping.)

lütfen (please)

ses (1the sound, 2the voice)

olmak (to be)

ses+siz--------->sessiz (silent, quiet (direct: soundless, voiceless))

ol+a+l覺m-------->olal覺m (let´s be)

Lütfen sessiz olal覺m! (Let´s be quiet, please!)

konumak (1to talk, 2to speak)

uyumak (to sleep)

konu+ma+覺n--->konumay覺n (don´t speak)

uyu+abil+e+lim->uyuyabilelim (let´s be able to sleep)

Konumay覺n da uyuyabilelim. (Don´t speak and thus let´s be able to sleep.)

bura (this place, here)

oturmak (1to sit, 2to sit down, 3..4.5..6...)

otur+a+覺m->oturay覺m (let me sit / sit down)

How to make the interrogative form?

gitmek (to go)

git+e+lim mi-------->gidelim mi? (shall we go?)

araba+ile---->araba+yle-->arabayla (by car (direct: with car))

Bu sefer arabayla gidelim mi? Hava çok s覺cak. Yürümek zor olur. (Shall we go by car this time? The weather is too hot. It is difficult to walk.)

Yard覺m edeyim mi etmeyeyim mi? (Should I help or not?)

I help if you want, I don´t help if you don´t want, and do you want that I help?

dondurma (the ice cream)

almak (1to take, 2to buy, 3..4.5..)

sen+e(dative)------->sana (to you)

al+a+覺m m覺----------->alay覺m m覺? (should I take?)

Sana dondurma alay覺m m覺? (Should I buy an ice cream for you?)

-->If you say "okay", I will/am going to buy an ice cream for you.

o+a(dat.)------------->ona (to him)

Bana o kadar yard覺m etti, ona teekkür etmeyeyim mi? (She helped me that much, shouldn´t I thank her?)

-->Indeed there is no question meaning. Means: "isn´t it necessary that I thank her?" or "of course I need to thank her" or something like this.

If you want to think as meaning of permission: "I couldn´t decide, whether should I thank or not. In your opinion?"
