Hi All,

I'm curious about Tarkan, can I have his songs to? How do I get them?

Kahve boy, you didn't read the instructions!

You're supposed to use the FIRST or LAST letter of the previous word to create another word, not just come up with a word

It's OK, but the next person must stick with the rules, OK.

Want to play a word game that helps expand our Turkish vocabulary at the same time? Well, this is what you must do. I’ll write a word in Turkish and put the English meaning of it in brackets.

The next person must use either the first or last LETTER of my Turkish word to create another Turkish word. And it goes on like that. Please write the English meaning on the side so we all know what that word means

OK let me start:

Yatak (bed)

My favourite movie keeps changing with the times...but the movie that I've watched countless times would be Bridget Jones's Diary.

Not the second film but the first one starring Renee Zellweger, Colin Firth and Hugh Grant. It's one funny movie!

Attila,

I think you mean: "Keep your FORKED tongue behind your teeth".

Forked tongue refers to a lying person. Just like the Serpent that lied to Eve in the Garden of Eden That's where the expression originated from.

Hello All,

How about Arrested Development? I really like that series.

Jason Bateman is good as Michael Bluth, the son who has to take over from Dad because the latter's in jail for shifty accounting practices.

It's funny. All the characters are so wacky...but I don't think it's showing in Turkey, right?

Hey, just in case anyone's interested. Ani from Istanbul is offering private lessons. Check out the thread in this website.

For me, the hardest part of the language is the sentence structure and suffixes. Takes time for one to reprogramme the brain...
