Thread: Visiting Egypt on Turkish Passport

They keep the same passport; it´s just a new page that gets stamped in their existing passport.  Not sure if it can be done in the UK or at a Turkish airport.  I think it has to be sent in somewhere and it takes 2-3 days for the new stamp.  I am having the same issue; trying to find out if my husband´s passport can be renewed at the embassy here in Canada, or if he has to send it back to Turkey to have this done.  The Turkish embassy in Canada hasn´t been too quick in answering my inquiries.  I´ll ask my husband where he got his previous extension and will write further when I find out.

Why not just get a 1 year renewal before you go, just to be on the safe side?  They will just add the one year onto the existing passport so it is valid until March 2012.  And Turkish passport renewal fees were just reduced as I remember.

What are they talking about??  {#emotions_dlg.you_crazy}

I´ve seen lots of nude sunbathers at different resorts in the south.  Strangely enough, yes, come to think of it, MOST of them were European ...

Is it just that it´s a nudist ONLY resort??

dans etmek means ´to dance´ but I´m not sure about the ending there.

Thanks Barba_mama ... I found some limited information on temporary residence, but they want bank statements, etc to prove you have funds to live there (?? for how long or how much I don´t know).  If I liquidate all my Canadian assets I would be fine, but I just wanted to leave things at home as-is until my husband´s residency here is approved.  That could be a long time though.  I had intended to live with my husband until I could find work there, but this doesn´t sound easy either, so how can I prove I have sufficient funds?  I am not eligible to apply for permanent residency yet as I believe I have to be married 3 years, and it has only been 6 months now.

Does anybody know where I can find some reliable information on residency in  Turkey?  My husband is Turkish, and if he doesn´t get residency in my country, I will move there.  The only problem is I don´t know how the visa rules work ... can I get continual visitor visas and leave Turkey once every 3 months (say, go to Greece for a day and re-enter Turkey)?

I have found a link on this subject before, but I can´t seem to find the information even in the consulate/embassy link now ... please help!!
