Thread: Right to refund?

Thanks for that

The laptop hasn´t been used and was bought 5 days ago. I don´t know if that makes any difference?

If not, I´m an Advertising Executive, so I´m sure I can find something misleading in their advert

Thanks again,

Michael

My fiancee (a Turk) bought a laptop in a shop in Bursa roughly 3 times the price of the same laptop in the UK. I convinced her to try and take it back, but the shop told her they would not accept it unless it was faulty.

I´ve tried researching Turkish consumer law, but I can´t find anything. What are her rights?

Do they have a legal 14 day return period or anything similar like we do in the UK? If so than she can instruct the retailer that their company policy doesn´t override the law.

We´re saving for our wedding, so we need to hold on to all the money we can.

Thanks for any help,

Michael.

My Turkish girlfriend speaks perfect English, but I am trying to learn her language, so I asked her to write me a letter  for my birthday (yesterday) in Turkish. I think i´m getting the general meaning of some parts right, but as everyone on here can probably understand, i´d like to know exactly what it is she is saying.

"Nasýl da giriverdin hayatýma aniden , ruhuma sindin. Artýk herey seninle mümkün, bunu cok iyi öðrendim. Bu kador sevildiðimi ve sevdiðimi bilmiyorum. Sen anlattýksa fork ettim. Bajen cok yanlig hissettigini biliyorum. Korkma, artýk ben varým. Her laman seninle yim tüm kalbimle

SENI COK SEVIYORUM!!! "

Thanks in advance for any help
