The language section has been in sleep mode for a few days.
An exerciese that learners can try out.
I´ll give a sentence with error(s) done on purpose and you´ll try to find the error(s) and write the sentence correctly.
If you think that it´s too easy for you, then just leave it to others. Understanding the meaning of the sentence is important as well to find out the mistake.

Yes, you found it, well done.

It should be "Denizde yüzmek ister misin?"

Because -de noun suffix corresponding to "in/on/at" depending on the sentence, here means "in".
-e noun suffix corresponds to "to, towards" in english.

If it were, "do you want to go to the sea", it would be "Denize gitmek ister misin?"

No, you don´t need to add any -mı, -mi in this type of question, "kaç tane" (how many) already makes it a question sentence.

Ok, I´ll do, but in fact it would be better without , and sometimes they don´t literally match.

How many cats do you have in your house?

can you explain verebilmem

If you are just a beginner, it´s a bit hard word construction.

verebilmek: to be able to give
verebilme: being able to give (now this is a noun)
verebilme + m = my being able to give

But if we say it in english, it will correcpond to this:
verebilmem için = "for me to be able to give"
or "so that I can give"

(verebilme + n = your being able to give
verebilme + niz = your (plural) being able to give)

It´s been a while but if I were to guess I´d bet on:

Yarın çok yoğunum. O yüzden size bir randevu verebilmem için önce ajandama bakmam lazım.

1. randevu in singular form
2. ajandanıza means "into your diary" so I think "into my diary" makes more sense.

Not? well...it was fun to try anyway

Beginner: Evinizde kaç tane kediler var?

Did anyone get this? If not, I´m going to have a go.
I´m a complete beginner but I think I read somewhere that you do not need to put a plural - ler - on the end of a word if you somehow quantify the amount, ie lots.

No idea if it works with kaç tane" (how many) but it´s the only thing I can think of.

Unlike english, with "kaç tane" you don´t make the noun that comes after it plural.

Do you think hobnob read ´yoğunum´ as ´yorgunum´ here - because in that case ´I am tired tomorrow´ would not make sense!

I don´t think so, maybe he just thought that with "yarın" we had to use the future tense "yoğun olacağım", but like in english we can either say "I´ll be very busy tomorrow" or "I´m very busy tomorrow", I think. Or would it be wrong in english?

OK, I get the gist of this sentence I think but I´m missing a bit of the nuance of translation. I don´t know if it´s meant to say ´our forum rules´ etc....

At the very least it should be an i after the kurallerını I think, and not an ı.
I´m just not sure what suffix is on the end and therefore whether it needs a z on the end or should be a imiz (our).

Or whether I´ve just written a load of rubbish!

No, "forum kuralları" = Forum Rules

Even if it´s a specific forum, it´s always Forum Kuralları.
"Forumun kuralları" is "the rules of the forum."

When you´re giving the general rules of any place, you do not use the genitive suffix as in "otel kuralları, okul kuralları.."

Yes, you´re right. It should be "su içersen", "if you drink water" but not "suyu içersen" = "if you drink the water", because it´s a general statement, we are not talking about a certain water.

So it may be, su içmeni or su içmeği
