I was hoping someone would check my sentences zahmet olmazsa.

 

 

I Fish, game, forest mushrooms and wild berries – pure ingredients with striking flavours – form the basis of Finnish gastronomic culture. The four seasons, each with its own food varieties, bring their own contributions. Balık, av, orman mantarı, yabanmersini  -  harika lezzetli temiz malzemeler  -  fin gastronomik kültürünün kaynak teşkilini ediyorlar. Her birinin farklı yemek çesiti olan dört mevsim kendi katkılarını sağlar.

 

II Burbot stew in the middle of winter, blinis and roe at Shrovetide, roast lamb at Easter, new potatoes and herring at Midsummer, crayfish in August, game in Autumn – each of these dishes tastes best when eaten at just the "right time". Kış ortasındaki tatlı su gelinciği yahnisi, apukurya zamanındaki balık yumurtasıyla gözlemeler, paskalya bayramındaki kuzu kızartma, yaz ortasında ringa balığıyla yeni patates, ağustos ayındaki karavide, sonbahardaki av  -  bu yemeklerin hepsi doğru zamanda yendiğinde en lezzetli oluyor.

 

III Reindeer hash, made from strips of frozen meat served with mashed potatoes and lingonberry relish, is one of the best-known reindeer dishes. Dondurulmuş uzun ve dar et parçalarından yapılmış, patates püresi ve  kırmızı yabanmersini reçeliyle servis yapılmış kıymalı rengeyiği, en ünlü rengeyiği yemeklerinden biridir.

 

IV Wild mushrooms go well with both meat and fish. The mushroom season starts in the spring with morels, which are used in soups and stews. The first ceps and chanterelles come out after Midsummer. Yabanmantarı hem et hem balığa iyi yakışır. Mantar sezonu baharda çorba ve yahnilarda kullanılan kuzumantarla başlıyor. İlk çörek mantarları ve horozmantarları yaz yarısından sonra topraktan çıkıyor.

 

V Until the mid-nineteenth century, the fare of the common people consisted largely of cereals, fish and milk products; in other words, bread, porridge, salted fish and buttermilk. 19. yüzyılın yarısına kadar halkın yiyecekleri tahıl, balık ve süt ürünlerinden, yani ekmek, lapa, tuzlanmış balık ve ayrandan ibaretti.

 

VI Previously, cheeses and sausages were only made in western Finland. The traditional bread cheese of Lapland is a round fresh cheese baked over an open fire. Doused with cream and served with cloudberries, this cheese is also a typical Finnish dessert. Daha önce peynirler ve sucuklar sadece Finlandiya’nın batısında yapıldı. Lapland’ın geleneksel ”ekmek peyniri”, ateşin üzerinde pişirilen yuvarlak taze bir peynirdir. Üzerine krem sırpılmış olarak, sarı ahududuyla servis edilen bu peynir ayrıca ayırıcı finli bir tatlıdır.

 ´teşkil etmek ´ takes accusative and  alternatively we can use ´ oluşturmak´ instead of  ´teşkil etmek´. 


teşkil  ederler ---> aorist is better as we believe that it is a common fact that those things are the basis of Finnish gastronomic culture.

Teşekkür ederim, tunci. Somehow I was so busy with the vocabulary I don´t think I thought about tenses at all  -  but sure aorist is better for this story.

 

I don´t really understand the difference of use between fin, finli and finlandiyalı or corresponding words for other nations. fin is a noun and the other two are adjectives, no?

 

Haha we call them ´new potatoes´ because we eat last summer´s potatoes until the end of June.

I think Finli is not a correct word. It is same with saying Türklü. It doesnt make sense. Fin or Finlandiyalı is correct.

Yes, it doesn´t make much sense but it is colloquial usage that quite few people use that way.
