Well I was better than that But not too good. The only way to ever learn Turkish is to go in Turkey and go on Philological faculty in Belgrade, but that would be for 5 years, and with that faculty it would be difficult to find some job here in Serbia, and probably anywhere.
Greetings,gokuyum.

Keep on studying the way you do and in ten years you can teach in that faculty.

A Christmas Carol
I PART

It was Christmas Eve,and Ebenezer Scrooge was sitting in his cold, miserable office. In the next room, his clerk,Bob Cratchit, was working. Chratchit´s office didn´t have a fire,so it was even colder than his boss´s.
´Merry Christmas,Uncle!´ cried a happy voice. It was Schrooge´s nephew,Fred.
´Bah,humburg´ said Scrooge. He was a mean,cold-hearted old man and he hated Christmas Day,but Scrooge didn´t think people should celebrate,so he refused.

You should learn what is "diye" and how you should use it. If you report something you use "diye".

He shouted to Ahmet "Come here now" Ahmet´e "hemen buraya gel" diye bağırdı.

But you can´t use "diye " with "demek"

He said Ahmet "Come here now "   O Ahmet´e "hemen buraya" gel diye dedi.  That is wrong. Discard "diye".

I´m not sure that I understood this.

Another example:

Ahmet asked me "What are you doing?"

Ahmet bana "ne yapıyorsun" diye sordu.

You see you report Ahmet´s question (What are you doing?). So you should use diye after the question.

If you don´t want to use diye you can translate it like this:

Ahmet bana ne yaptığımı sordu.

Ahmed asked me what I am doing.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL

PART II

As Fred was leaving, two gentlemen came to the office. They were collecting money for the poor, but Scrooge said he didn´t believe in giving money to people who didn´t work-even at Christmas.
When the time came to close the office,Scrooge spoke to this clerk.
´I suppose you want a day off tomorrow.´
´If you don´t mind,sir.´
´Well,I do mind. Why sould I pay you for a day´s work, when you don´t do anything. But I suppose you must have it. ´ With that,Scrooge went home to his cold, dark house.

PS:Happy New Year! <3 <3 <3
You don´t have to check this now,I´ll leave now,and I won´t come soon. And probably you also celebrate New Year.
