Quoting aenigma x: Quoting robyn : i know this will sound really dumb..but it suddenly occurred to me last night about eggs. i knew that chickens laid eggs and they hatched obviously, but i always wondered how we had eggs that we could eat and what the difference was..so i asked okkes if different eggs were laid for food and babies..he explained(whilst laughing) that the eggs we eat are eggs that were not warmed by the mother and so are in fact are undeveloped chicks..does the thought of that disgust anyone other than me? |
Sorry but thats wrong Eggs we eat are unfertilised eggs If you didn't know they were undeveloped chicks, what did you think they were? haha! |
i really don't know aenigma..either way i don't really want to eat them anymore..

I may be just being stupid but they these few things really got on my nerves today at work:
1) A little girl must have been about 8 at the max and was carrying a really heavy basket whilst walking around the store with it and all her empty handed mother could say was "come on hurry up, otherwise we're going to be late!"
I felt like taking the basket off the kid and shoving it into her moms hands and saying "well maybe if you carried the basket instead of getting your little child to lug it round you wouldn't be late!"
2) A little girl was running around the shop being a little loud but she was funny to watch and was making people smile because she was so cute but her mother told her to "stop screaming and bloody behave!" but she either didn't hear her or ignored her and ran towards the candy in the shop still being loud and he mom chased after her and grabbed her by her hair!
I mean come on! she was being a child for heavens sake!!
I agree with punishment but the girl must have been about 3! And I think to drag a child by their hair to get them to do what you want is completely barbaric!

I'm not a doctor but I am inclined to agree with aenigma if as you say in another thread that he has a chest infection, a smokey room is not the best environment

Actually you are right Joey and I have to agree with Aenigma too. People who smoke regularly are much more likely to suffer from repeated infections than non-smokers are because cigarette smoke damages the lining of the bronchi, reducing the resistance of the lungs to infection, so your husband would be better without the smoke around him and with the windows open to let fresh air get in.

tony blair's money for knighthoods scandal seems to have been hushed up by the recent 'terrorist' raids in brimingham..such good timing dont you think the sooner this government gets out of power and the troops get out of iraq( where they have no business being there!) the better
