While looking for flights to Istanbul I discovered that Belgian Airlines doesn't have flights to Istanbul anymore!?
I just don't get it! There is such a large Turkish community in this country, and there were several flights per week.. Why would they delete Istanbul from their destinations??
I'll find out..

Quoting Elisa: I'll find out.. |
And so I did..
Of course it's all a matter of making profit (in this case, the lack of it), people preferring THY or low cost airlines, only peak moments were July-August, blablabla..
Oh well I'll fly THY then, I always loved them and they have that interesting Skylife Magazine

Funny that, I have just looked at flights to Istanbul in August and it is cheaper to fly THY and not Easyjet. Trouble with Easyjet the prices get cheaper closer to the date, whcih don't make it easy if you want to book ahead and tak a chance.
Anyway, Orange airplanes bug me!!

When I checked for THY prices they came out quite expensive.. Corendon is no option either. But it's my own fault as well, if I go it would be around Easter and I should have decided and booked way earlier!
I compared prices on ebookers.com as well. There are cheaper flights, but they all have stopovers. A flight to Istanbul would take up to 15 hours (check-in etc.. included)

This bothers me! You get up at 5 to go to work and you dont get home until around 6. I hope you are not working more that 8hrs per day, if you are then your Company are breaking the law for young workers. A worker between the ages of 16 and 18 are not allowed to work more that 8 hrs per day and 40 hors per week. Tea breaks and lunch breaks are different also. |
