I think this "be" is Farsi "ber". It means "on" So we say day on day instead of day by day

I think we can also use günden güne for day by day.

Kar günbegün eriyor.

Kar günden güne eriyor.

I am looking for a recipe for soup.

It has wat looks like rice but it is not I think it is their type of pasta with what looks like minced meat chicken or lamb.  Made mainly with water and tomato puree.  My husband says it is called Corba but I think this means soup.

Thanks

Cheryl

Is this what you drank? If so, it is Şehriye Çorbası.

Birkaç üniversitenin resmi web sitelerine baktım. Onlarında Ingilizce erişimleri yoktu. Sanırım herkes sayfasını gözden geçirmek üzere erişime kapatmış.

Epey eğlenceli. Rektör amcamız Vatan Gazetesi´ndeki resminde, Polat Alemdar gibi çıkmış. Kravat da takmamış. Üşenmiş sanırım. Yaka bağır açık, rahat rahat takılıyorlar Baydaş Çiftliği.

Hi Alpha

Thanks also a lot. Now I know how to translate this "construction" in my mother tongue.

Aber ich weiß nicht, wie ich das übersetzen soll. Wie würdest du das auf Deutsch wiedergeben?

Thank you very much, Umut

I see. Can you give us some example sentence using "hazir" in a similar context.

selamlar
djuha

Nichts zu danken Djuha. J Du kannst sehr gut Türkisch, deswegen werde ich diese Sätze nicht übersetzen.

Hazır dışarı çıkmışken 2 ekmek  alır mısın?

Hazır vizeler kalkmışken, Rusya´ya gidebilirim.

Hazır buraya gelmişken, onu da ziyaret etseydin.

Hazır arabayla gidiyorken, bu sandığı da götür.

Hi

I have a question about a turkish level test question.

11-) Hazır çocuk uyu……….., bir DVD seyredelim.

A) uyumuştu

B) uyuyordu

C) uyurdu

D) uyumuşken

I can not understand the use of "hazır". Can someone explain?

Does it mean:

The kid has already fallen a sleep let´s watch a DVD.

selam

djuha

Here it means taking the advantage of an opportunity.  The kid has fallen asleep, so he won´t bother them, so it is an advantage for them to watch a DVD.
