Quoting catwoman:

This is a lovely idea, my aunt does a lot of stuff like that.. I'd love to as well, but I doubt I'll ever have time for it
I like your enthusiasm though Canli.

Thx cat,it took us about 4 weekends to finish it,now it doesnt actually need much work, just water it and check on the plants.

İ know its not a new idea, but its a very useful one,i've tried it and it is such a delightful experience .
İ plant my own plants now,i cant say,i've reached the limit which i dont buy them,i did it just 2 mothes ago,but im on my way to acheive this inşallah
Today,i actually harvest some dill and watercress, and it was so wonderful
İ have none chemical plants safe to use,i help in reducing the global warming, and i enjoy the sight
Like hitting 3 bird with 1 stone
So,i want to share it with you all

İ've talked with my neighbours, and took permission from the landlord, and we did it together we choose a spot where is the drain pipe and water supply, and i've builted a cube with 3m*3m*40cm hight
And we brough a big strong, plastic spread, like plastic table spread but more thicker 'something like that' that would cover it all till the sides too,and we've cut it where the drain pipe 'in the ground' is and i've put some small stons on that cut,so it will allow only water to be drain not mud too
Then we brough sand, mud, and some soil feeding and mixed the all together before we put them in
Then we watered it,and we started to design it
We drew lines so we can put the seed in,and left almost 30 cm between each line
Then for example in the line where we to plant tomato,we put the seeds where there is 20 cm between them, and you put more than 1 seed in the spot,so maybe there is some not graw, and later when the second leaf grow, you elect the good ones, and remove the weak ones
'that is what the experts said, but from my own experience, you plant only 1 or 2 seed,at the same spot and dont put them close to eachother, and you can plant seedsevery 10 cm not 20,and then later elect the good ones, and remove the others and leave enough space for them to grow, when i did as the experts said,i had to wait till the second leaf grow, then i elect,it was hard because the root were already graw too,and mixed with eachothers, beside i felt like killing one for the other one sake
so this which i will do next time inşallah, and it will allow me to remove the plants easily and replant them in another place'
Then you water them daily 'depend on the weather too' if your weather is too rainy,so dont forget to buy 2 of the plastic spreads not just one,and the other one you get it a bit larger,so you can cover your plants by attaching the plastic spread in something from side and in the other side attach it in another thing but a bit shorter so the rain water can fall from the plastic spread
'this we didnt try yet,we didnt need, rain was ok so far,so you can invent too, maybe we will need in summer to protect against the heat, but we will have to make small holes or something in it so plants can breath'

Anyway,i enjoy it,i wish you do too

Here are some sites i've founded, they looks really great
But for me,it didnt cost me that much

Ps:if you plan to use the wood containers as in the picture, remember to paint it first with something that protect it from water and wont effect your soil.

Btw,the spot where i picked is treated against water,so it was no harm on the building, and the blastic spread was for more protection but,if you dont have this,so i suggest to use the wood containers.
