 Hi Elisabeth,

How are you? thanks for reading my post, I agree with you it is best to start the ball rolling as they say because it would be advantageous to start before Nesrin come to England.

I know Elisabeth that a job and a secure address are two pluses with any application made.

Best wishes

Rich & Nesrin

I am not sure how you would do this is the UK, Rich but I wish you, Nesrin and Melissa the very best.

Here in the US, the earlier you start perminent residence paperwork the better off you are.  I was actually able to file different types of paperwork concurrently, just in case one method got thru more quickly than the other.  For my husband and I, it wasn´t a matter of which kind of visa he got, it was a matter of which one will keep us together.

I hope you find a solution to your situation.  Best of luck on the job hunt!

Elisabeth

Hi all,

I have now moved back to the U.K. as I am looking for work to support my wife and young daughter, it was very hard to leave my home in Istanbul but with another member of our family to support working full-time is a neccessity even more now.

My wife Nesrin will retire in just a few days so I am expecting her to join me with little Melissa at the end of Sept start of Oct.  We will attempt to rent our apartment in Istanbul which will give us a valuable income and then we always have the option to keep it should we return later in our lifes.

I would really appreciate any advice for my wife as I am still unsure which route to go down, here is the present situation, she has a visitor´s visa which expires in Jan 2011, I am currently desperate to find work here in England but we will have a secure address at my parents.

Would we best to apply now before her current visa runs out for a another visa or apply for an extension of stay in the U.K. as a partner or wife/husband of a U.K. national, which basically is the same as a settlement visa application.

We know need to get things moving so we are looking upon experienced people who have gone down the same route as we are going for advice and guidance.  Anybody with any suggestions or advice please reply

Thanks

Rich & Nesrin

Hello Miray,

How are you and Mithat? Miray I was wondering if anyone at the bank had made any arrangements for Nesrin´s last working day on the 31st August to celebrate her retiring and leaving the bank.  It would be nice to have a small party for her, I was there to be able to sort something out for her.  Anyway have a good weekend and take care

Best wishes

Richard

How are you? thanks for looking after Melissa and calling around to see Nesrin and Melissa, how is your back now? Nesrin told me you injured it lifting Melissa and the pushchair.  Tulay as you know on Sunday is Nesrin´s birthday I wondered if you could do me big favour, would you be able to buy her some nice flowers from me? as I would like her to have something from me on sunday.  I would really be grateful and will treat you to some lunch when you come to England sometime.

I added you on MSN, can you send me e-mail when you get this e-mail

Best wishes

Richard & family
