                  I am pleased to announce that on the 11th June 2009 my Turkish wife Nesrin gave birth to our beautiful baby daughter Melissa, I have of course posted a picture on my Control Panel for everyone to see, I am sorry but I cannot be on T.C. as often as I would like to but will try and pop in from time to time

            I just wondered if anyone who is living in Istanbul was attending the Summer Fete at the British Consulate in Taksim this forthcoming Saturday 13th June 2009 at 12.00 noon (Turkish time).

I am hoping to attend although my wife will give birth this week so I am waiting for this exciting event.  I just thought it would be a great opportunity for anyone on T.C. to meet fellow members that is of course if you are here in Istanbul.

Anyway hope to post the good news of the arrival of my baby daughter very soon and if you are going to the Summer Fete on Saturday let me know perhaps we can arrange a meeting

 I have a friend who has a residence in Antayla for rent, includes swimming pool and Tennis Court. Self catering 15 days only 260 English Pounds. Will sleep 3 people 5KM from Antayla airport. Hello everyone,

                               How are we all doing? yes I know it has been a while since I wrote on T.C. last time but I do not spend so much time on the computer as I used to,  only on Facebook which seems to have caught my interest.

We are both myself and Nesrin looking forward to the birth of our first daughter near the end of May start of June, I have settled in to life in Turkey although I miss my country (never thought I would), I teach English to a handful of Turkish students with the help of a qualified English teacher, I am hoping to be placed on a CELTA course in the summer which will help me achieve better teaching methods and of course gain a qualification.  I have not been able to take the earlier course as the price was just too expensive and with my small teaching classes and my wifes wages we just about survive here in Istanbul.

I use Facebook quite regularly if anyone uses it here on T.C.  I hope it is not too long until I visit again.  Hope everyone is okay and best wishes

                 Hope you and your wife are fine, it is not long now till her pregnancy I wish you both my best wishes.

I noticed the video of myself on Facebook, it is very good to see all the fans before the game.  I will arrive back home soon so hopefully myself and Nesrin can meet up with you and your wife perhaps next month

        Has anyone had any experience of finding a job at Istanbul´s main airport Ataturk, the possibilty of working there would be ideal for myself, I can imagine that cleaning and other job sources would be advertised quite often, anyone have any information I have tried their website
