More homework?

Ayşe and Ahmet are still chatting in the Bulvar Kahvesi that they went to, but bit by bit the atmosphere between them becomes more electric

Ahmet: Do you know that that whisky you are drinking is bad for you? I advise you to drink ayran like I do

Ayşe: I don't think ayran is a very healthy drink. Don't you see that I am adding water to my whisky? They say that water is the healthiest drink. Where water is drunk illness cannot be present.

Ahmet: Is that a proverb?

Ayşe: Yes, everyone knows this proverb, haven't you heard it?

Ahmet: Because I lived abroad for a long time I don't know many Turkish proverbs. The first proverb that comes to my mind is, “The person who doesn't beat his daughter beats his wife”. Have you heard that one?

Ayşe: Are you trying to imply something?

Ahmet: Do you know what they used to call women like you who talk a lot?

Ayşe: I know that they used to call men who talked like you "yobaz". do you know what century we are living in?

Ahmet: I am sorry for your poor husband. Now I understand why you separated. I couldn't have kept up with a woman like you. Besides, I thank Allah a thousand times I have never married.

Ayşe: What rudeness! Who would want a mean old chauvinist like you!? I think it is time to end our conversation. If you ask that waiter for the bill we can pay it and leave at once. BEcasue there is no point in our staying here. If I stay here what else will I face, what else! I will enevr forget what I have heard from you, and I will never forgive you. Do you think I would have come here if I had known what was going to happen? I had thought that I would have a nice time, and meet your Norwegian friends, that's all. Besides, it's all the fault of these Norwegians!!
(Ayşe starts to cry.)

This was the first alternative. At the 52nd alternative.
You thought it was the last alternative.

It was what you first thought of.

sahte yüzlere gerek yok, çıkar dünyasında amaçsız yaşayan yok, ama en önemlisi yüzüne gülüpte arkandan vuran çok (yolun açık olsun)

There is no need for false faces, there is no one who lives without an aim in the world of those who seek their own benefit, but the most important thing is there are many who smile to your face but stab you in the back (may your way be free of obstacles)

i am sorry but i dint know the size but i will find out, i think my dad will know my ring size. i am not hiding it from you, but dont any crazt ideas to buy one. i read your email, i love that everything we say to each other is just right. i never have a chance or reason to dissagree with you, and that makes me very very happy

My try:
Young fellows do not see understand and accept their mistakes, faults and sins in their youth. They refuse the recommandations, take lessons from the past. But when it is too late they have to pay and suffer what they did all their lifes. This thing does not change and continues ages and ages

Fcs: that's great! I would just repeat the negative in English, saying "they don't take lessons from the past", or even better "they don't learn lessons from the past".

Also nesiller boyu would be better translated "from generation to generation" that "ages and ages".

It reminds me of the bumper sticker: "Employ a teenager, while they still know everything"!!!!
