ur welcome..but if its any further help i know that girlfriends wont meet the family unless its serious in the first place

I have to disagree with you Robyn, as it is not a general rule in Turkiye or in another country..In some cases, meeting the parents means that the relationship is serious and maybe its leading to marriage..but i know a case when the girl met the boy's parents and few months later, they broke up..I think we shouldn't generalize things that we don't know, as each person is different than another one, so are the relationships

Anyway, Vickysmith, i wish you all the happiness in the world and the best!

Maria

i think we have started a feud my dear ..if i remember correctly u had experience with a single man..whereas i regularly socialise within the turkish community in my area..and all of these act in this way just to clarify that

p.s. i still hate galatasaray lollol

Ohh my dear Robyn, it seems that everywhere i post a reply, you are there also And bytheway dear, i wasnt talking about me in that topic, it is about one of my best friends, if you really want to know all the details
I hoped that you have forgotten our previous talks, but it seems that you didnt lol But if you really need everybody to agree with you, than for this topic's sake and our's, this time i will make an exception and i will agree with you..if this makes you feel better!!
And should we start a separate topic again referring to turkish men??I am begging you, let's not generalize about people and things...My previous reply was my opinion, and yours expressed your point of view, so i think Vickysmith will be the one to discover on her own how are things in
real life as she received 2 different opinions..don't you think so??

P.S.:Im in no mood for feuds today!! And i hoped you kept your fingers crossed for me to meet the perfect turkish man!! :-S

Maria

i was joking

Thank God!!Now i can respire!!!

As far as i seen and experienced, the turkish boys/men are reserved in showing or expressing affection towards their girlfriend in public places or in the presence of family..

Merhaba everyone!
I would like to know what are the legal procedures in Turkiye if people decide to get a divorce, not that anybody wants that..Let's say that one of the parts involved is a foreigner, what kind of rights does he/she have??And the most important matter in my opinion, what happens with the kids, will they stay with the mother or the father?I wonder if the assets(properties, things that were bought during the marriage by either wife or husband)will be divided 50%-50% as it is here in Romania..What if the wife of the husband has never worked, is the 50%-50% still applying? As far as someone from Turkiye told me while my visit there,in case the wife never worked during the marriage, she will stay in the house with the kids..
Sizin cevaplariniz icin tesekkurler!
