Quoting Deli_kizin:

I think so too As most people receive mails and sms from (mostly) guys in Türkiye, I'm sure they are all familiar with that time-zone

I agree about the lay-out. It shouldn't become too complicated bec it will distract (i vote for simple but design), but this grey looks kinda unprofessional if i may say so. With paintshop for example, you could make a beautiful background-lay-out with pictures from turkiye or the turkish flag or something

great idea

i believe that literature and poetry is important in any language, especially when learning a new one.
if people are able to read interesting pieces from turkish writers they will not only be improving their general knowledge in regards to turkish literature but also gaining a greater interest into literature as a whole.
a great extra for any site yani.
haydi adminler..! işinize bakın bakalım...

How is this thread supposed to help learners?

i know what you all mean by having the custom of taking off your shoes before entering a house in turkiye although if you turn on turkish tv you will see that people just walk in a house with their shoes on!! :S strange eh?
