Quoting erdinc:

Greetings,
Except messages, points are given for Turkey pictures that were uploaded by the user and for essays that were written by the user. I don't know all the details about this. I havent checked how it works. It's really not so important I think. If it had been up to me I would remove this feature long time ago.

lets take the title, merak ediyorum da..

here the da highlights that i am doing something for a reason, ie. the verb before it. thats correct yeah?

im not sure however, whether or not da is just used as a word or as some kind of changeable suffix which follows vowel harmony..??

hey.. by the way..
if on the tape which my turkish will be recored on, i am speaking in a more informal way will this effect my mark?
for eg: geliyom, gidiyom etc.
also, if i am given a scenario where i have to reply to someone should i use the formal version?
for eg: ... soyluyorsunuz??

thanks in advance

what is my contribution ranking?? how did i get that??

Total score seems to be the same as the number of posts......

Mine says:
Your total score on the site: 1216
Your contribution ranking among Turkish Language Class members: 2

yah but i post a lot too.. im on here most days.. right?? i dont understand!! :S
maybe we need a mod or admn to tell us??
So I assume the ranking takes into consideration the frequency of your posts over a given period of recent time - I did ask the same question some time ago but got no answer
