Yes! I am one OCEAN far from London ! =(
why dont you better organıze one ın south amerıca?
I would travel anywhere : Argentına , Brazil , Colombia , Peru , Bolivia --- now If you organize one in Chile , I could take you to see "Los Andes" mountains or Pablo Neruda's House what do you think people?

Good question! I just googled it and found this:-

"The name Holland is widely used as being equivalent to the Netherlands; its use is similar to the use of England for the United Kingdom, or Russia for the defunct Soviet Union. Mainly people from other parts of the Netherlands sometimes object to this. They will point out that they are from the Netherlands, instead of the smaller part of the country that is called Holland. People from the southern provinces Limburg and Noord Brabant (Northern Brabant), which are mainly Roman Catholic, retain some bad sentiments against Holland. During the time of the United Provinces these areas did not have any political liberties and were exploited as colonies. A culture of this exploitation and the feeling of being exploited remained until the second world war; only after this war, with the true modernisation of the Dutch society did they become more free and did their relative power increase. The anti-Holland sentiment remained however, and is still relatively alive in these parts of the country."

You live and learn eh? !

Aenigma is right 'Holland' and 'the Netherlands' are not the same but are used in names as the same. Besides that there is some hostility between Amsterdam and Rotterdam... lol

Yes, you can say that: . Holland are just 2 of the 12 provincies of the Netherlands and Amsterdam is a city, our capital - though the government is in The Hague.

Sure ....Moldova (as I know it) is in the South East Europe (North East of Romania) and if I remember correctly it borders Romania and Ukraine (I am positive about Romania but not 100% sure on Ukriane) :-S
Had a friend from Romania, so that kind of helped lol

Brunei - Not read up on, but thanks to you I will

Nauru - All I remember is that their currency is the Australian dollar lol

Moldavia was a part of Romania,,,till the Russians took HALF OF IT...after the IInd World War..
Now, a part of former Moldova is in Romania 46 %, part in Moldavia (name after the so-called Revolution in 1989-199

It is the same language, Romanian and Moldavian, naturally...
Same I LOVE U/SENI SEVIYORUM/ TE IUBESC..

anyhow, how about the meeting's in New York? capital of the world... i mean c'mon! how many of you loathe to visit NYC? so? i'd come back tomorrow midday -5 GMT for submissions...

We have a similar situation in the UK where "England" is substituted for "UK" on a daily basis.Only last week we had a suit on British television describing a young lady who has been harashed by the press (a charming girl by the way)as the future Queen of England

Robyn sis, sorry for the error. My friend had mistakenly translated the topic which i requested him to do so. It was the forum title no. 13_12464 and not this one. I had sent a message to him to modify his message translation. Again, sorry for the mistakes, my sincere apology
