Quoting Deli_kizin:

Can somebody tell me if there is a (simple) way to split the yellows from the whites from an egg, without having any special tool for it? Im always ruining 1/3 of my eggs in this process so an advice would be welcome!

Thanks!

make two holes in the egg at bottom and top of it ,so one will be for getting out the white and the other is for the air, that simpl.
besides girl what this topic has to do with turkish learning, ah i guess the egg is turkish

Who needs YouTube, tools or professional advice when there's Janissary and his bat?

Guess you're always making omelettes btw?

Hehe thank you all for your reactions I succeeded at last! The method of just letting the egg fall in your hand and let the white go away between your fingers into a bowl was the most succesfull one to me.

Thought it became a rather interesting topic

Crack the egg into a saucer. Place an egg cup over the yolk and then just pour the white off. You can also use half of the egg shell to do it instead of an egg cup, but it must be a clean break.

Even without a very clean break it is the same and easy. Pour the yolk from left half to right and back and the white will drip into a bowl you put under it. It's a trick my father learned me, he used to be a pastry-cook.
