And that's an excuse to rip of tourists then is it? I understand that it's not easy going to university and getting a good job in Turkey, but surely there has to be other options than simply going to the nearest touristic resort and looking for a naive foreign woman to rip off and use.

i totally agree, when I was in Turkey in 2004 with my family one of the animation team spent loads of time with us, got us to join in everything, then one day asked my dad to buy her a pair of trainers as hers were old!! When my dad said no she didn't speak to us for the rest of our holiday!!!! So it's not just men, or Turkish but many people who work in this type of industry

Thats really a good example to show... its not with being Turkish or being with man.. its with mind.. and they are working in the same company... maybe they demand becoz it is what they are presented... i mean some ppl were giving them and they are hearing those fairy tales like no sweat from forehead but easy money... so here we are now!! cause and effect eh?

The British should tell us how make so much money with taxes. We almost don't collect any tax at all. All the people who run a big or small bussines cliam that they lose money each year and nobody pays any tax. There is also no control what so ever.

In the UK it is so amazing to see a taxing system working so smooth and perfectly. The taxing office (Revenue & Customs) even makes radio advertisements. Even I know that you have to register within 3 months of starting any bussines and you can register by phone or online.

In Turkia tax means that you pay some experts to fill complicated forms with fake information and then you send somebody to wait 6 hours in the tax office to apply with these fake papers not to pay any tax.

Corruption is alive and well in the corporate corridors of Turkey then :-S

Although I suspect that things will change significantly if and when Turkey eventually becomes part of the EU......but exactly why it wants to I do not understand!!!

I think this guy has stooped very low to expect off you. As to pay you back next year I suspect he would just ignore it once he had the computer. His next mission would be to see what else he could get.

It seems life is getting too easy for them in the resorts. They have never had it so good. Thinking the tourist has too much money, which is not the case. Generally it takes a year to save for a holiday for most people.

The businesses must be booming with all the tourist trade and unfortunately I have heard people that won't return because of the ripping off.
