No unfortunately its too far away from me! I hope to see it at some point though. Are YOU going?

I loved his documentary "The Sound of Istanbul" but must admit I haven't seen a fictional film by him yet

Yes. I can also recommend his musical documentary ´Crossing the bridge´. It was very nice to watch.

One of the musicians featured in that movie is my cousin (Mercan Dede) and another one -a member of The Replikas is a friend of mine.

Really? I love the music!! I find it refreshing and nice to listen to, though Im really not a fan of rap-techno-lounge styles of music (on the contrary actually!), but this is somewhat different. I think he´s very succesfull.

I´m not so sure, but I think that if you watch it on the laptop with divX, you must be able to download the subtitles somewhere. I know they exist, I just don´t know where one would be able to find them I suggest you learn Turkish

The movie is available with subtitles...in English at least.... worth watching. It´s meant to the second movie in Akin´s Trilogy. The first being Head On, in which the theme is meant to be ´love´ !! The theme in this movie is ´death´.
