He didn't - he was getting his sexual kicks by "temporarily" slipping into unconsciousness...and messed up big time!

This part of the forum is actually supposed to be about TURKISH music, singers and lyrics - I am surprised at you Peace Train for spoiling this forum with your western lyricists!

If you want to post about such things you should use the off-topic section

You are quite right dear. This is what I said when I introduced the thread:

"I would love to learn of members' favourites, especially turkish as I would like to learn more. It would be helpful to give the era or context in which they were written."

I think I also responded to some one else's post by saying Turkish lyricists are especially welcome.

Call it mutual appreciation if you like. I realise that a great deal of western music is well known in Turkey but there may be some that isn't, that's why I posted the item about Donovan.

I know that my efforts are futile in your eyes but I am using this site for my own pleasure, just as, in your opinion, you do, and that is as it should be.

If you aren't interested in these threads, they're easy enough to avoid. But your antics are obvious. I am probably contravening rule 9 of the Forum Rules (wooooooooooooooooooo I hear you say) right now (and I'm sure you'll tell me of any others I'm breaking too)but so are you. One particular sentence there "If you don't have anything nice to say then just don't say it at all."

As this is a lyrics thread:

"Bang bang you shot me down, bang bang I hit the ground." probably before your time dear.

and a James Blunt : "Here we go again" definitely before your time.

If my threads are not appropriate to the spirit of the site, complain to the moderators and they will take the appropriate action. I can always reincarnate myself as "your majesty"
