I know from personal experience that the security clearances for Turkish males between the ages of 17 and 60 are so lengthy that it took my husband over one year to get processed to come to the US. Its the most ridiculous thing....everyone in the US is fed up with illegal immigration but NOBODY wants to talk about the nightmare of Legal Immigration. It is shameful that we treat people this way!! It doesn't take 12 months to do a security check....I don't care how many systems it has to go thru!!

You are right Elisabeth, such a shame & frustration to wait 12 months for Legals. Sounds like they need more employees in the INS Department. I would volunteer my time..in the illegal immigration department. Declined...next...

I was watching the news today and I came across to this term. The news said Turkey will be in the SIA list and that will mean all the Turks will be suspected as terrorists until otherwise proven.

THIS MAKES ME FURIOUS!!
