Today is Easter Sunday.

Happy Easter - Diriliş Bayramınız Kutlu Olsun!

To everyone, whether Christian or not, I hope you have a day full of Easter Joy and Hope!

The attached aticle about Kariye Museum in Istanbul and its Anastasis Easter fresco is my Easter Card to everyone on this site.

This is because a child's small hands have to hold the bunny round the body, so the nearest point of entry into the mouth is the ears

Ah..I have big hands and it explains why, I always start eating from its bottom..

Actually,it would be more useful also if you'd explain also what is Easter,and why do you celebrate it,and why bunnies ??

Well... I don't know why bunny maybe it has something to do with spring time?
And what they are celebrating is the Resurrection of Christ... a symbol for Christians of liberation from and forgiveness of sins. Maybe someone else can give a better explanation...
