I`m wondering how Iraq would have been ranked before the American invasion. It`s ironic how they bring "peace".

I'm sure that statistic is available somewhere...instead of wondering, why don't you look it up and let us all know?

I`m too lazy for that. besides I`m not as sure as you. Why don`t you find it, if you`re so sure that there is one available.

Because I'm not the one that raised the question. Apparently you only did so to get another jab in at the US, not out of any real interest. :-S

No, I`m truly wondering how Iraq was ranked back then. It`s the last country in the list, and there must be a reason for that. Why can`t you take criticism?

And this index does say that Turks are very "willing to fight"
Willingness to fight 4
(Qualitative assessment of the willingness of citizens to fight in wars. Ranked 1- 5 (very low to very high) by EIU analysts.)

How did Iceland go from NOT being a country on the list in 2007 to being the safest country in 2008?

I will try to do my part to keep the crime rate up in my country. Between my real job, TC and mugging....it's just so hard to get "me" time in.

When I click on the link I see X factor. Is that on purpose or?
I've heard that in Iceland if you walk at night you may see torches burning in front of some houses. It means that inside there's a lonesome guy who's waiting for someone to join him for a drink. So, if you see a torch you're welcome to enter. I don't now if it's true though.
As for the price of alcohol, I guess it's the northern way. I remember alcohol being awfully pricey in Norway. Not to mention that off-licence would close at 4 p.m.
