GG - I think the joking may have gone too far. I feel really embarrassed to have been making fun of this poor man. Please have a little compassion and stop these hurtful comments.

Mmmmm, let me think about it........................nah!

Quoting catwoman:

Actually, Alameda, science has not concluded ANYTHING about mental differences between men and women.

I did not say mental difference! Note, males have a higher amount of testosterone, with that goes a whole lot of other things....like body mass.

"In both men and women, testosterone plays a key role in health and well-being as well as in sexual functioning. Examples include enhanced libido, increased energy, increased production of red blood cells and protection against osteoporosis. On average, an adult human male body produces about forty to sixty times more testosterone than an adult female body, but females are more sensitive to the hormone.[1] However the overall ranges for male and female are very wide, such that the ranges actually overlap at the low end and high end respectively."

Quoting catwoman:

The only difference there is, is the one who gives birth to children. All the "information" about men and women being so much different is more of speculation then real knowledge and also, it is completely disregarding the fact that boys and girls are raised completely differently from day 0. You know, only 20 years ago they had scientific proof that girls should not run because their uterus will go to their heads and kill them.

Well I don´t know what schools you went to, but I never saw such a thing as that taught in any school I went to.

Hmmm....looking up testosterone, I found this....

"Effects on the brain

As testosterone affects the entire body (often by enlarging; men have bigger hearts, lungs, liver, etc.), the brain is also affected by this "sexual" advancement; the enzyme aromatase converts testosterone into estradiol that is responsible for masculinization of the brain in a male fetus.

There are some differences in a male and female brain (the result of different testosterone levels). A clear difference is the size: the male human brain is, on average, larger; however, in females (who generally do not have as high testosterone levels) the corpus callosum is proportionally larger. This means that the effect of testosterone is a greater overall brain volume, but a decreased connection between the hemispheres."

What has this proven? Nothing. Absolutely no connection between this and whether men are capable of raising children and whether women are capable of having professional careers.

Apparently in a forum called "look who the real closed minded people are at TLC" we are supposed to remain serious and respectful. May I remind everyone that this very inappropriate forum was started by a mod (who is also a man referring to other members as "small minded"). So much for everyone being nice and respectful. Perhaps we can find more respectable postings in the Internet Porn forum or perhaps Catwoman should not be an admin forum (totally disrepectful...and I think she took it quite well), or any number of forums attacking religion or lifestyle choices(too many to name here). It´s ok to talk about female circumcision, abuse of females, burkas or women in general in a venomous way...BUT OH NO...DON´T DARE MAKE A JOKE ABOUT MEN!! You mods have all gone NUTS! (No offense to nuts)

Ofcourse it´s ok to talk about everything including internet porn, female circumcision, burkas, or the closure of AKP etc, but if it comes to a level like, "ohh, we can include Tayyip Erdoğan into our man farm, he´s not so hairy, but not Abdullah Gül" (just an example), then it makes the difference.
Then, searching in the user pictures to find people for your fun, what will be the next? Can´t you just see it?
Is it so difficult to get the difference?

You really are making such a big deal out of nothing. You go on for pages and pages on something that not one man complained about. Is this really what you save your ranting for? Why is it that you pick this subject but say nothing about keith´s antics today, which were FAR more offensive????
What´s next? More fun? Is that such a difficult subject for you to embrace?

They were JOKING, it was a JOKE - not a ´low-level discussion´. How do you not get this mltm? Or are we misinterpreting you and your comments are all tongue-in-cheek too?
