No, I mean, it is not in the list as "bear" that we know, but as "my moon", but the thing is in turkish the two is the same, and I haven´t heard of it personally because when a lover calls the other "ayım", it will definitely be understood like my bear which is a rude thing.

"ayı" is said to people who do not know any courtesy rules, who are rude, uncivilized people.
But you can make it sound cuter by saying "ayıcığım", "my dear bear", then I´ve heard of it a few times usually when the man is a bit fat, but öhöhö I don´t think all will be happy to hear it.

My husband mentioned to me that being called a bear in Turkish culture was very rude. I called him a snoring bear once and he got very irritated. He explained it to me but it was so long ago, I forgot.

I have heard the term used as teddy bear, which refers to something cute and cuddely, not fat. Then she would probably say my grizzly bear, if she was referring to his size. But I don´t know the Turkish terms.
