For a while now, we have been working on Turkish Learning Groups. It was originally KeithL´s idea to create such groups. We are ready to get them started now. In these groups students will learn our lessons, complete homeworks for every lesson; the homeworks will be corrected by a teacher and students have a separate forum to discuss the lessons and ask questions to teachers. There will be a new lesson every week (or every two weeks, depending on what students prefer), and there are total of 10 lessons per ´course´.

We need about 10 beginner level students who would be interested in participating. We can even have two groups: one for people who don´t know any Turkish and another for people who already know a little bit, but are still beginners. We are looking to get the groups started as soon as we have enough students.

If you are interested, write here and write what your level of Turkish is.

Interested? Maybe, depending of the acquired time and the teacher of course (is he cute? ).

My level? Far below zero.

Trudy, Elisabeth, SenseOHumor, I am not sure if you are being serious or not. Can you post here only if you are serious about this?

Actually I was serious. I would be a beginner level. I just need an approximate number of hours per week this will take as I am already taking several other classes.

This will not take a lot of time at all. It will be one lesson per week (or per two weeks, whatever the students prefer), there will be 10 lessons total (for the ´course´), and there will be a relatively short homework at the end of each lesson, that students will have one week to complete.

You can pick either beginner 1 (know nothing about Turkish), or beginner 2 (knows some basics).
