I was just wondering does anyone have any pets. I for one have had many including 5 dogs (bonnie - cockerspaniel r.i.p) Pebbles who we currently have, she is a 2 1/2 year old jack russell terrier. Also many rabbits, gerbils and have got 4 cats. Plus of course Bonnie had many pups, very cute black and white strangely enough she never had her color - orange roan.

So could you reply with your family pets, thanks

I don’t really ever remember a time when I didn’t have cats.  My mom would bring home just about every stray she ever came across.  Right now I have one cat, Sammi.  She is 18 years old and she is going to be my last kitty…..at least for a very long time.

blame my mum, at least none of us are scared of animals. I´ve noticed when taking Pebs for a walk so many little children get scared, and that doesn´t help. The more you show fear to a dog the more likely it will attack because they think your about to hurt it. All Pebbles ever does is like you to death occassionally you would hear a bark but not often at all to be honest

I had a kitten (btw MY MOM HATES CATS and she made us get rid of him like at the begging of the summer )

he was only 2 months old when we got him, he was a persian cat and he was tabby colored and he was so cute

i called him canz ( dont ask wh, long story)

anyway he was so cuuuuuuuuuute!!!

i swear hes wake me up at night when he was hungry, he just pat on my cheek his paws were soo soft and just like make one meow or smtgh

he loveeeeeeeed cream cheese,

hed love to lick it off my finger, i swear his tongue is so strong, iw as amazed lol

but when he got excited, (he hardly ahd any clwas, they were cut, btu somehow still there)

like when id play with him alot, and he wanted to get whatever was in my hand hed strat scratching, but it didnt hurt or antging, and in the morning, he always knew when iw a sgoing to school and hed stand infront of teh door ad try to get out with me , (hes so cute right??)and then

TRAGEDY struck!

one day iw as in the balcony(were in the first floor balcony, so its not that high up)

and he was standing between the bars, and then he leaned over too much and he fell!!!!

OMG!!! i was like screaming!!!

and he was so smart i swear he ran up the stirs and i opened teh door to go get him, i found him standing infront of the door.... BLEEDING!!!

and he couldnt breathe and he was spurting blood and ... it hurts to remember

butbthen we took him to the vet, and the doctor said he was okay

but after that for a while, he didnt cuddle or anthing and was kind of like scared of us, even though i never did anthing to him! Hes the one taht fell!!!

and then, he wouldnnt go in the litter box, and he did like under chairs and stuff, then my mom said tahtw as the last straw

and she took him awaaaaaaaaay!!!

I had pets usually for short periods, not more than 3 years. I have had one dog, one cat, two parrots, two goldfinches, two canary birds, 3 budgies, one baby lerche and lots of hamsters. My favourite were my hamsters. I had once  around 14 hamsters in the same cage because my hamster couple gave birth to around 12 hamsters.

This begs the question, what on earth do you do to them after 3 years? (Bearing in mind that an average cat lives for about 17 years)

Dont EVER invite me to dinner at your house.....

PS Is this topic especially for Sui, Erdinc and all fluffy cutsey people?

I don´t think it´s appropriate as keeping 14 hamsters in one cage may be viewed as terrorist activity.

They either died or we gave them away. The dog and cat were given away to people with gardens. Most of the birds were freed to the environment. Hamsters were sold out (that is why I loved them the most {#lang_emotions_satisfied_nod}  ). Some of the birds died because of illnesses, some fleed out of the window, one hamster got an electric shock, one hamster died because of old age as they live around just 2,5 years.

You talk like little girls that are disgusted by everything. How do you think the cancer is being defeated, how do you think so many drugs that cure people have been being discovered? All labs use animals, they have to use them in order to save lives. Either me or another scientist, what will make the change? Hamsters produce so many, and I used some of them in my private lab.

 This is a menagerie!  {#lang_emotions_lol}

I have two cats and we have our neighbours chickens that come into our garden and eat our flowers but lay no eggs!  I grew up with loads of animals, we had dogs, cats, and a goat that had triplets, which I saw being born.  We kept pigs (sorry Muslims) but then I would not eat pork in case it was one of our pigs.  We had a pig that was ill and the abortoir would not take it.  So I kept it as a pet, and it would follow me around the farm yard.  Then it had to go and I cried!  That pig was lovely, I used to sit with it and scratch its back and it loved it! (btw I as only about 14 at the time)

I still love pigs!  They are wonderful creatures.

Well if you are going to eat meat you should be prepared to eat all animals.  Why is it considered cruel to eat a rabbit or cat but not cruel to eat a chicken or cow?

apart from incisors the differences are:

  • "The male´s scrotum is in front of the penis.
  • The penis has no bone as it does with a rodent.
  • Lagomorphs re-digest certain soft feces to obtain nutrients. "
