Hailed as the world´s first recipe collection of its kind, Cooking With Balls includes testicle pizza, battered testicles and and barbecued testicles with giblets.

Ljubomir Erovic, the chef behind the book, said testicles are rich in testosterone and are believed to be a powerful aphrodisiac in China as well as his homeland of Serbia.

In Turkey it´s quiet common in fact, eating the testicles of sheep, and I like it, it´s delicious especially when grilled.

I am not sure I like the idea of other types!!!

As a child I used to regularly eat sheep´s brains on toast for breakfast before going to school.   I recall the butcher´s shop also sold testicle but I don´t ever remamber eating them......maybe I need to try and find a good old fashioned butcher and try some.

They´re known as Rocky Mountain Oysters where I live and are greatly prized in some circles. There´s even a yearly festival featuring them:

The festival also features a lot of drunk people, drunken fights etc. so I´ve never attended it. Years ago I used to help rancher friends at branding time and sometimes was in charge of cutting the bull calves. Some of the old guys were very fond of them so we saved them and gave them to them. They claimed that the best way to serve them was diced and cooked in scrambled eggs.

I am not sure I want to see this just before I go to bed!!!!

It is sure to give me nightmares.........

The subject is bad enough - but the (lack of) fashion sense is horrendous!

Did nobody tell these poor souls that open plaid shirts went out when grunge died???

:shocked:

I once had the misfortune of unwittingly sampling pigs testicles (disguised as quid {#lang_emotions_unsure}   when I was in China and I can tell you, a bowl beside the table would have been handy {#lang_emotions_puking}  they fall into a similar category at deep fried ducks tongues and chickens feet {#lang_emotions_sick} {#lang_emotions_sick}

I think you´ll like my sauce though, I added some Ballsamic vinegar lol.

I think some cocktails would go nicely with the pizza too. {#lang_emotions_bigsmile}
