Ý havent downloaded them all nor heared all the part i have already downloaded which is part 1 ,but from the little i heard,i would advice to use it as Audio files only which help you with pronunciation,and dont get your grammar information from it.

´I ´ is a hard vowel not a soft vowel,´Ã ´ is the soft vowel

Ýf they are mistaken this and its one of the basics so i wouldnt trust it much for the rest.

Thanks for sharing it doudi

but there is scanned book ! Many pages with a lot of good exercises, it is helpful, but you have to know some basics, or even more than basics {#lang_emotions_wtf}

Ý havent checked the book,so i cant say anything about it

Ý have downloaded the audio files part 1 as i have mentioned above ´Pimsleur_Turkish_Basic_Lessons_1_to_3´ and thats what im talking about

Ýf he mistaken I as soft vowel where its a hard vowel,it doesnt seems reliable enough to me as a grammar source

Ýt can be good as konuþma.

Ýts my opinion anyway,take it or leave it

Okay... The book is excellent! its really really awesome! It helps alot! i keep listenoing to it over and over, but part 3 and 4 are kinda hard, not my kevel yet, and in the other 4 links the first 2 are tooo easy! but theyre kinda boring but if youre a complete begginer going to turkey for holiday, than its good, especially taht it teachs you basic things, like asking for directions and stuff, and asking for help, and teaches you how to have converstaions at the same time. and it keeps repeating the thing over and over aain, and each time adding a little something new, by the end, you have it memorized really good! But i dont really prefer thatw ay of teachng, i get bored

Anyway, theyre nice, for improving the way you pronounce and stuff, and listening, so i ive it a 80 percent,  because they dont ive translations, you have to learn how to listen to the word and look up its meaning, whuch im enjoying! , makes me feel good lol

Hope it helps somebody

Oh, so its not only me? i didnt really care though, its good just to have a book where you can read what it says and listen to it and teaches you grammar all at the same time, get it for free,a nd dont have to be infront of the PC! But im not even there yet

I got this book at Istanbul a few months ago but I couldnt find the audio. Now I can study a bit more properly, thanks! As for the missing pages I am going to scan them and upload them somewhere so you can download it and have it complete.

(it is 4.15 am now here, so I am going to sleep and upload the missing pages later)

Have a nice day.

Thanks for info about the Turkish audio downloads. Coincidently, it matches the vocabulary and dialogues found in the book I bought last year. The audio CD was not availabe at that bookstore. If anyone is interested in purchasing the book, it is titled "Teach yourself Turkish" by David Pollard and Asuman Çelen Pollard.
