 Of course it is blatant racism if he did in fact say it.

please explain why, if it´s that obvious.

 I don´t know about Poland catwoman but in Britain if a person makes jokes or ridicules a person from another ethnic group it is classed as racism, but then again as you said before I am not capable of deep intellectual thoughts.{#lang_emotions_sad}

Well, in Britain, anything is called racism. Even criticizing obvious things in one or another group or religion is called racism. I am not defending the stupid joke that this man said, I think it´s primitive and offensive. But I do not think it´s racist. It does not imply anything about a particular race, even if Africa is backwards in some ways, that is not to say that black people are somehow inferior to white people. I am sure the meaning of this joke depends on the context as well, but only based on what I know, I don´t see how it is racist. I think that calling this joke racist is similart to me calling you racist because you criticized someone/something from my country.

 You know I think how you see it depends a great deal on your cultural context. You most probably are unaware of how Blacks and cannibalism have been related in the US. Here in the US a common image to demean blacks would be cooking Europeans up in pots. The stereotypes had bones in their noses.

The actual cannibals were in the Pacific, not Africa. Head hunting and cannibalism were prevelent in the Americas, Columbus met some, as did Cortez with the Aztecs

the statement is racist, condescending and utterly ignorant, if kenyans actually ate people then there would be no problem to make a statement like that because it would be true and because its false going out of your way in front of the media as a political leader to make a false statement like really states that you are a racist idiot.

As a world leader who is trying to do right be your nation it would be petty to say that and then call yourself a leader and to set a huge example for you people its makes you look like a joke.

and you of all person sent Obama a letter of congratulation on his victory in becoming america´s next president you are so fake. its just so pathetic that people have to be making up racist lies just to get what........?
